Yasir Masood Afaq is a well-known trainer, organizational development consultant and entrepreneur. He has huge contribution towards the knowledge economy by employing empirically endorsed insights of Applied Psychology in his workshops, key notes and consultancies.He practices as a Clinical Psychologist in addition to designing and executing experiential learning and transformational interventions on Work-Life Integration, Cognitive Fitness, Resilient Organizational Culture and Wellness at Work for blue chip Corporate, Public Sector Departments, INGOs and UN agencies.
He is the CEO of MYMACOM (www.mymacom.com), a private limited company, rendering services in the wider spectrum of Applied Organizational Psychology and Founding Director of House of Wellness – HOW (www.houseofwellness.pk), which is a Mental Health Treatment & Resource Center in Islamabad. Currently a doctoral candidate, Afaq holds a master’s degree in organizational psychology from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad – Pakistan and MS in Clinical Psychology with distinctions throughout his academic career.
Col. (Retd) Muhammad Akmal has lifelong association with human resource development, personality development of the youth and educationist. He is a renowned leadership trainer and life coach. During his military career, along with his operational duties, he has served as Commandant of ISSB Gujranwala and has also been involved in recruitment process in armed forces. After his retirement in 2014, he established “Institute of Personality Actualization and Development” which provides training and coaching opportunities to youth which can enable them to better serve their homeland. Through this institute, young generation is provided training and counselling for career navigation, emotional management in career development alongside many other aspects.
He is also attached with different prestigious universities in Islamabad as faculty member. He teaches Disaster Risk Management. Alongside writing regularly in renowned journals, he is also associated with different departments of Federal Government and provincial governments of Punjab, Sindh and KPK as regular speaker and trainer of government officials on topics like Emotional Intelligence, Personality Development of Youth and Disaster Risk Management. He has Masters in Business Administration. In recognition of his services and contributions, Government of Pakistan has conferred Sitara e Imtiaz (Military).
Mr. Mazhar Ul Haq Loan is an entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA). He is chairman of The Firogh E Islam Foundation which undertake charitable activities including education with and through local non-government organizations. He is founding member of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) and member of Islamabad Stock Exchange. He has done ACCA from United Kingdom.
Dr. Muhammad Imran is working as Associate Professor, KAM-School of Life Sciences, Forman Christian College, Lahore. Earlier he has served as scientist in Syngenta, Bracknell UK and University of Manchester UK. He has also served Industrial Biotechnology Division, National Institute for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering Faisalabad and Wheat Research Institute, AARI, Faisalabad. As researcher, he has conducted researches on many scientific topics related with biotechnology and other biological sciences.
He has a Ph.D in Bio-molecular Sciences from University of Manchester and M.Phil in Bio-technology from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad. Earlier, he did his B.Sc. (Hons) from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad.
Maj. (Retd) Nazar Hussain has 13-year career in army predominantly in training. Beyond his military career, being an educationist, he has been leading educational institutions. Currently, he is associated with E-Commerce as well as social media outlets. Through creating digital content related with education harmonized with Islamic faith, he is striving to bring positive change for humanity. He has a B.Sc. from Pakistan Military Academy, Abbotabad and currently pursing B.Ed.
