Brother Dr. Muhammad Ashraf belongs to District Kohlu; a district ranked as “Very Poor District” in Benazir Income Support Program Survey in 2010/11. Kohlu is valley surrounded all round by Koh-e-Suleman range. Majority of people in District Kohlu are darily farmers and sheep-herders while some are employed in public and private institutions. Kohlu is a tribal area where cultural sensitivity is very high, and people follow old tradition and tribal norms. Brother Ashraf’s father was a plumber in Public Health Department. After completing his F.Sc from Al-Hijrah Residential School & College, he joined Punjab Medical College, Faisalabad. Although, life gave him financial obstacles in the path of his dream but he never let these obstacles make him hopeless, instead, overcoming the obstacles, he succeeding in getting MBBS degree, and now he is serving as medical doctor in District Headquarter Hospital, Kohlu (Balochistan)
